I'm fairly new to Indian cuisine , but the foods I tried were distinctive and very tasty. The buffet offered vegetarian, chicken and lamb dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have cloth napkins and glass drinking goblets. The restaurant looked clean and was tastefully decorated, with soft Indian music. Overall, I thought they had great food, great service, and great prices. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Amazing Indian food! I was so pleasantly surprised! Absolutely delicious, some of the best I have had in the US, better than most places in New York or Chicago! Buffet is amazing too! Naan and paneer were amazing! Service was great too!

I will say I was just craving some Indian food :)) and they brought us here. Must i say I appreciate the service so much. They were kind enough to service us like 45 min before us coming!!! And will say kinda felt bad for staying over the closing time. I apologize :(( but really give them a prop for being so kind to do this!!! The inside had plenty of seating and must I say when you walked it you can smell the food. The spices and all. If you enjoy Indian food you would def enjoy this place. The reason in giving is a 4/5 is because when I asked for extra spicy or I forgot the exact words they use and they guy asked me if I was sure and I was like yeah. But it wasn't as spicy as I thought. I thought I would be in tears as I was eating it more and more but i didn't. But will say it was delicious!!! Idk if my spice tolerance had been getting higher and higher but I did feel the kick but not as much as I would like. But overall food and service was amazing!!! You guys should definitely check it out and was pretty authentic to me.

The food was outstanding!! The service was impeccable!! The place was elegant in the inside. Looked somewhat worn and dated outside. Pleasant surprise when I walked in! I had the Punjabi chicken wings along with Chicken Tikka Masala. Very tasty. I'll go again when in South Bend!

Food and service here are lovely. We are both vegetarians and had a huge and delicious selection of dishes. And we had a delicious Taj Mahal beer too! We were in the mood for Indian food and felt super lucky we found this place. Hope to be back and would recommend highly.

I wish there is more India restaurant presence around the South Bend area, but India Garden always remain as a good option around town. They did some renovation since the last time that I been here and playing some Indian music. The server is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the Aloo Gobi and Chicken Tandoori. The flavor of the Aloo Gobi is just on point. I got mild for the spicy level, and have just the right amount of heat. The Chicken Tandoori is served on a sizzler. Very excited to hear the sizzling sound and smoking from the sizzler. The chicken itself is super juicy and tender, along with some onion. I also miss their weekday lunch buffet options. Currently, they only offer lunch buffet during the weekend.

Vey happy to finally try this place in person. I was brought samosas a few months back and even after they sat in the fridge for a day they were delicious, especially with the chutney served with it. Inside, it was exactly what you would picture for a restaurant in this location as it was probably an old banquet hall at some point. We started with the vegetable samosa which was even better fresh. For our entrees we got chicken madrasi, reshmi kabob which came with rice and lentils, naan, and roti. The reshmi kabob was cooked to perfection, tender with a char on the outside. The bread was soft, and the lentils were rich in flavor. The only issue was the service was lacking a bit. They were slow to taking our order and getting the check (we waited 15 minutes), but the food came out fast. Service- 3/5 Ambience- 3.5/5 Value- 4/5 Food- 4.5/5 We will definitely be back!
